Solutions Group (HSG) announces a major investment in its call center
operations. Reflecting a multi-million dollar investment in its independent
third party administration (TPA) business, HSG announced today that among
other new enhancements it is rolling out a new claims administration
platform that provides real-time on-line reporting of claims management
information to its customers, and will include a web-based audit package to
ensure vendor compliance. Jim West, former VP and CIO of Safelite Corp.,
will be providing assistance with the effort.
HSG also announced
that it will assume all responsibilities for its call center operation in
Eau Claire, WI, marking an end to its relationship with APAC Customer
Services who it had outsourced its call center services to in the past.
HSG anticipates a
smooth transition. Essentially, current APAC employees at the Eau Claire
facility will be offered positions with HSG with no disruption to pay or
benefits and the team will continue to occupy the same facility. A back-up
call center also has been established for disaster recovery purposes. The
transition is scheduled to take place prior to July 2004.
"This investment
signifies our commitment to our customers and the TPA business! We are
rolling out new and innovative products that are helping the company expand
into additional product lines as well as upgrade old lines, including
property glass, flood, and fire restoration services in addition to auto
glass,” stated Paul Gross, President of HSG. “This is just the first in a
series of significant enhancements designed to better serve the insurance
and fleet industries, allowing for stable and steady growth” he added.
